# About the Local AI Release Board

## What this is

The Local AI Release Board (recentmodel.com) tracks new open-weight model releases and local-AI runtime releases, with a hardware fit check for GPUs, DGX Spark, Strix Halo, Macs and CPU-only machines.

## How it's made

Items are gathered and written by an automated pipeline, then checked through agent and human peer review before and after publishing. Only official or primary-source-confirmed facts are shown as facts: specs and file sizes come from the model's own Hugging Face files and config. Benchmark claims are marked vendor-reported and are not verified. Items in Just landed that aren't from a trusted org and haven't passed the signal threshold are labelled new, unvetted. Fit results are sizing calculations, not tests.
